Microsoft has been doing this successfully over the past many years as all the versions of Windows have been able to outnumber the negative aspects with its positive ones. However, Windows Vista is also just another creation and has a couple of aspects which can definitely be improved in the longer run. However, this does not mean that Windows Vista is not up to the mark. It is undoubtedly the best version to have released in the market so far. Drivers
Drivers have been in the limelight for the wrong reasons ever since the launch of the Windows Vista. There were no drivers for many Windows Vista hardware components. The quality of the drivers was extremely poor in that Windows Vista which had them. It was found out that the NVIDIA drivers were poor amongst all of them. However, NVIDIA has been working very hard to improve the quality of the drivers ever since some people have found certain loopholes in their drivers. One of the drawbacks of NVIDIA has been that many people have complained that the games crash midway and the drivers are corrupted files. However, this is not a very serious problem at all. It is a very minute error. This has not happened for the first time in history of hardware world. NVIDIA is also not the only company which has been facing with such a problem. There are plenty of other big companies that have gone through and still going through the problem of poor quality drivers. One of the most important things that you need to look into is that having bad drivers is anyday better than having no drivers at all. Infact, there are many companies who don’t even have their own drivers till now. The poor quality of drivers does not harm the entire working of the system in any serious way and hence the problem is not actually a problem.
Application Compatibility
Many experts have claimed that there are many applications that do not work in Windows Vista. Well, the only possible reason for the above claim is that the user would not be able to enjoy all the applications if he/she does not have all the administrative privileges. Hence, this is not really a technical problem that has been a mistake from the side of Microsoft.
Conclusion
Every operating system has a share of problems. However, the important thing is how one can provide customer satisfaction service. Microsoft has been known for their excellent customer service and their operating systems have been known as the best from a very long time. The Windows Vista issues are very minor and one cannot come to a conclusion that Windows Vista is not efficient just because of couple of such minor errors.
