There are many options available with XP. You can do most of the functions in XP which are possible in Vista. If you are going for graphics and looks then you are making mistake. You can get the Vista look in XP with the help of 3rd party software. Wait for first Vista service pack. Let Microsoft solve all the major issues. Let Vista stabilize in the market. I think then it's time for Vista.
