feature "DUAL-use BitLocker Drive Encryption Trusted
Platform Module". In today's world many organizations
spend huge amount to protect data because this data
or corporate intellectual property is important in day

strategies, employee's salary structure, record of available
inventory etc.

It's based on the principle of Encrypting File System

The new BitLocker enterprise feature is added for machine-level
data protection. It provides full-scale encryption of
the system volume, including Windows system files and
the hibernation file. The main aim behind this is to
protect data from being compromised on a lost or stolen.
Trusted Platform Module
Microsoft data protection manager is used based on
trusted platform module tpm. Microsoft always gives
user-friendly features, which are easy to handle, a
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 chip is used to store
the keys that encrypt and decrypt sectors on the Windows
hard drive. It requires the TPM and an enterprise management
infrastructure so that end users could handle it easily.
