A little bit of give and a little bit of take

It seems to me that switching from Windows XP to Windows Vista is a trade. Vista has all these new features including better security, parental controls, better searching, and a better look. All of these are great features. It makes it easy and safer to surf the internet. However, for all those new features, you are also giving up some things. Because Vista requires better computer components, you end up parting with money or maybe even a computer you just bought just to accommodate Vista. Also, the word start has been removed. For someone who is not that experienced with computers, the word start is an obvious way to begin. The maximize, minimize and close buttons are reduced in size, which leaves some people searching for them. All in all, it really just depends on what you want in a computer operating system that determines if it’s worth the trade.

Exactly. Amanda you have stated the point correctly. If you are using simple applications like office and browsing, you can continue with your present system.
